EU Project Steering Committee meeting was held, of which Kastamonu Union of Local Authorities (KASM\u0130B) is the final beneficiary.<\/p>\n

The meeting was held under the chairmanship of KASM\u0130B President of Union, Governor Avni \u00c7ak\u0131r at the KASM\u0130B Administration Center. EU delegation members Elif Ceyda Torcu \u00d6zden and Cenk Y\u0131lmazer, Ministry Project Coordinator Burak Y\u0131lmaz, Consultant representative Naci \u00c7imen, the EU Project Commission members, Devrekani Mayor Engin Alt\u0131kula\u00e7 and Cide Mayor Mehmet E\u015fref Mutlu, KASM\u0130B Union Manager Adnan Tot and technical personnel attended the meeting.<\/p>\n

At the meeting held within the scope of KASM\u0130B Integrated Solid Waste Management Project, where the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change is the program authority, information was given about the construction works, which is the first phase of the project and completed last year. In the presentation made, it was stated that the Leachate Water Treatment Facility, which was built in the Solid Waste Disposal Facility within the borders of Devrekani District, was delivered to KASM\u0130B and put into operation, and the transportation and rehabilitation works of 15 old landfills throughout the province were completed.<\/p>\n
